Smite music mission started in Africa (Reunion Island) where his love for syncopated rhythms was born. Believe it or not but it’s there that he got his first taste of the raving scene and free party sound system lifestyle.

After a move to south of France back in 2000, he got his hand on a Drum and Bass tape (K7!!) mixed by Nicky Blackmarket and Mc Skibadee, that was the Revelation!!!!!!

In 2002, Smite chooses to settle in the birthplace of DnB: London, where he still lives now. After hours and hours watching and learning techniques from pro Djs (Grooverider, Andy c, Friction, Shy fx, to name a few) in action at the legendary club “herbal”, it will take him few years to get his skills up to standards. Mixing up all styles, Smite can take you on a trip through the whole spectrum of drum and bass, from “liquid” to “neurofunk” and around the darkest places of the genre (if needed).

Being part of the London “free party” or “squat party” sound systems scene, he found there a grid that still book him in the most famous clubs of the DnB capital.
